Trader Joe’s Proves That Obamacare Can Free Us From The Wrong Jobs

My roommate recently quit Trader Joe’s under threat of fire because they kept refusing her the 6-month raise that’s in her contract. She worked there for two years and got her first three 6-month raises, but after that they kept finding minuscule reasons to put her on “probation” (i.e. being a minute late for her shift). Trader Joe’s seems like a great company, but that’s what they want you to think.
